The development of the AFSS began in 2003.
AFSS for various types of military ground combat vehicles have been developed and mass-produced.
AFSS senses and suppresses fires and secondary explosive fires which arise from various causes such as oil leakage,
electrical accident, ballistic impact, gun firing etc. in ground vehicles including tanks and armored vehicles during missions.
